Best of Korres Gift Set // A Lovely Present Idea.

I got lots of lovely Christmas presents this year, some beauty related and quite a lot that were puppy themed - my latest and very unoriginal obsession. One of my favourite beauty gifts was the Best of Korres set.  Korres get it bang on with their brand - marketing nerd alert!  Their packaging is super appealing and looks high end without being overly extravagant, plus pretty much all of their scents smell like they could transport you straight to a peaceful Greek island. Big ticks from me.

In this set you get the Guava Body Butter, Basil Lemon Shower Gel, Wild Rose Cream and Mask, and the White Tea Cleansing Gel. The shower gels and body butters are free from most nasties found in cheap cosmetics which is a major selling point, and the guava/basil lemon scents are just lovely. They've really perked me up on dreary January mornings. The Guava body butter in particular reminds me of beach holidays - there's a perfect blend of cocktails and sun cream in that little tube. Oh and it's moisturising too! All of their shower gels have that luxurious lather you just can't get from a supermarket alternative which is a great way to start the day.

I prefer Korres body products in general, but the skincare is definitely worth trying out. I've been a little careful with my sensitive skin this month but the cleanser did no harm and I enjoyed the scent of the rose products. I've used Korres Rose Brightening line in the past and it's always worked well for me, hydrating without causing breakouts.  More brands should consider a capsule collection of well loved products in miniature. It's certainly a nice way to get a proper taster of a beauty brand and has put Korres right to the front of my mind again - top marks!
